Scott Maclean is Director of Precision Education Limited, which provides consultancy, support and training services in curriculum design, timetable construction, Integrated Curriculum and Financial Planning, School Resource Management, apprenticeship programmes, Management Information Systems and leadership development pathways.  A former teacher and senior leader in several maintained secondary schools for over 22 years, Scott worked as senior leader in charge of curriculum and has constructed timetables since 2014. Establishing his own timetable consultancy in 2021, he has since constructed timetables for many schools and trusts in a wide range contexts across the country, including independent, grammar, special and voluntary aided schools. He has been an ASCL timetable consultant since 2023 and he is also an experienced school inspector and accredited School Resource Management Adviser, working for The Institute of School Business Leadership (ISBL) on behalf of the ESFA, to provide support for schools, trusts and local authorities in providing financially efficient, high-quality education.
